Astro Bot Gets 10 New Bots & Speedrun Levels

Team Asobi announced fresh content for Astro Bot, including brand-new speedrun levels and 10 Special Bots that players will be tasked with rescuing. Players can expect the new content to drop this fall, with the developers promising that the new levels will push players’ skills to the limit.
Nicolas Doucet from Team Asobi took the stage shortly after to showcase the new updates, teasing that there’s even more to come.
Ghost of Yōtei: Tsushima’s Anticipated Successor

One of the more exciting reveals came from Sucker Punch Productions, which introduced Ghost of Yōtei, a brand-new spinoff set in the same universe as Ghost of Tsushima some 300 years after Jin Sakai’s story.
This new title, slated for release on PS5 next year, brings a new female protagonist, a gripping storyline, and a new region of Japan to explore. Set against a backdrop of political intrigue and supernatural elements, Ghost of Yōtei looks to be a must-play for fans of Tsushima.
Horizon Zero Dawn Remastered

Guerrilla Games unveiled Horizon Zero Dawn Remastered, which is set to launch on October 31 for PS5 and PC. This remaster brings Aloy’s original journey into the current generation with re-recorded conversations, motion-captured performances, and graphical upgrades that bring it in line with Horizon Forbidden West.
Nixxes Software, the team handling the remaster, has ensured that the game will take full advantage of the PS5’s hardware, delivering breathtaking visuals and improved gameplay mechanics.

Alan Wake 2: The Lake House Expansion

A brand new chapter in the Alan Wake series takes players to a remote research station on the shores of Cauldron Lake, where an experimental disaster has unleashed the dark forces of the lake.

Dragon Age: The Veilguard – A New, Epic Journey

Dynasty Warriors: Origins – Return of the Hack & Slash

Koei Tecmo announced the return of the beloved Dynasty Warriors franchise with Dynasty Warriors: Origins, slated for release on January 17, 2025.
The game introduces a nameless hero navigating the chaos of the Three Kingdoms period in ancient China. With a fresh take on the classic hack-and-slash formula, Origins promises to breathe new life into the series with modern gameplay mechanics and dynamic environments. Fear the Spotlight – Horror Reimagined

The PlayStation 5 Pro Gets an Extra Announcement

Earlier this month, PlayStation revealed the PS5 Pro, and the State of Play added further details to the growing list of games that will benefit from the console’s enhanced hardware.
Launching on November 7, the PS5 Pro is designed to boost graphical performance, increase frame rates, and deliver an overall smoother gaming experience.
Developers across various studios shared how their titles will take advantage of this power, with promises of improved load times, ray tracing, and higher resolutions. From enhanced textures to faster rendering, the PS5 Pro is expected to redefine gaming experiences for titles optimized for the hardware.

PS5 Chroma Collection

For gamers looking to customize their setup, Sony announced the PS5 Chroma Collection. This new line of accessories includes console covers and DualSense controllers available in three stunning colors: Chroma Pearl, Chroma Indigo, and Chroma Teal.
These accessories are designed to shimmer and shift colors depending on the angle, offering a dynamic new aesthetic for PS5 owners. Expect the Chroma Collection to launch later this year.
